TIME FOR PEACE CAFÉ

The Time for Peace Film & Music Awards launched in New York in 1994 by Marion and Robert Einbeck are at the origin of the TIME FOR PEACE CAFÉ that will be the trendy place.

The TIME FOR PEACE CAFÉ will be opened in New York. It will be implemented under the direct supervision of Marion Einbeck and the team of Ducasse Conseil.

The TIME FOR PEACE CAFÉ will be designed to be a multi profitability project. The place will take advantage of the great interest of the media for the notoriety and respectability of the past Time for Peace Film & Music Awards and for all the initiatives that the organization had taken for about 20 years, such as: The LA Time for Peace Music Festival under the chairmanship of Robert Mitchum, Robert Stack, and Sam Francis. It was proclaimed 95 Time for Peace Day by the Mayor and the City Council of Los Angeles and Beverly Hill and was at the origin of the UN Peace Day or the Kenzo Time for Peace fragrance which was in 2000 one of the most important perfume sales of LVMH.

The TIME FOR PEACE CAFÉ will be a place of relaxation, to enjoy a drink or a snack break, but also an authentic and wellness place to meet with people, combining film, music, and visual arts carrying humanistic values and peace.

The interior design of Time for Peace CAFE will be conceived in assembling flat pack furniture, in order to be easily put in place in any kind of spaces and to be sold in the world under franchise.

In this perspective a series of Time for Peace CAFE products designed by Robert Einbeck will be launched (tableware, bio products, linen tablecloths and bath towel, wines and spirits, and all sorts of small furniture and kitchen utensils). A great chef will also create a TIME FOR PEACE Cake.

The Time for Peace CAFE will have a large choice of alcohol-free beverages and wines and spirits exclusively coming from organic vinicultures. Daily international newspapers will at the disposal of the clientele.

A lunch at the restaurant will be served everyday. It will propose fast food menus to be prepared following bio recipes by renowned French, United States and Europeans chefs. Marion Einbeck, Editor in Chief of the Time for Peace CAFE and author of “Carnets de Table”, an epicurean short stories book published by Assouline, is friend with a number of 2 to 3 Michelin stars chefs who are supporters of the Time for Peace mission. Marion already got nearly 100 recipes exclusively created for her and autographed to the attention of Time for Peace. A healthy and light home made intercontinental cuisine made with natural products will be served for the dinner.

A space in the Time for Peace CAFE will be dedicated to a Club where renowned and emerging artists could meet. The Club will organize parties and musical, literary and films events and concerts.

To be closer to the public, the Time for Peace CAFE will ask its clientele to participate to the launching of a variety of new Time for Peace awards such as for literature or multimedia.  The clients will make the choice of the winner simply by ticking the name on a list that they will receive with the check. They will also have the opportunity to vote on one of the few large screens computers showing daily online news. The ceremony of the presentation of the awards to be held in the place where the winners are living (America, Africa, Asia or Europe) will be life broadcast in the Time for Peace CAFE and special parties will be organized at this occasion.

TIME FOR PEACE DESIGN

A business by the name of “Time for Peace Design” will be established before the Time for Peace Café created, in concert with teams from Ducasse-Conseil.

It will be responsible for designing the prototypes of the dishware, cutlery, glasses, napkins, as well as of the furniture, lamps, and kitchen utensils, which will bear the logo of the Time for Peace Café. The furniture is to be designed in the form of a kit that can be easily dismantled.

Although the design will be done by Robert Einbeck, multimedia artist and co-founder of Time for Peace, some of the celebrities previously honored by the Time for Peace Film &Music Awards, as well as other artists, will participate in its creation. Thus, there will be the opportunity to produce services and limited-edition objects bearing their names in association with that of Time for Peace. A
percentage of those sales will benefit the program “Human Dignity through the Arts”, which Time for Peace is in the process of launching.

Once the prototypes are finished, the services and articles will be manufactured in small series, some of them in other countries (such as Mali, Turkey, India), using the principle of fair trade and marketed internationally via the Internet.

Part of the profits of the “Time for Peace Design” will benefit the establishment of the café and thereby also allow the partners to become shareholders in the “Time for Peace Café”.
